Service 19 Dudley-QE Hospital via Dixons Green, Baptist End, Netherton, Old Hill Cross,
Haden Hill, Hawne, Short Cross, Halesowen, Mucklow Hill, Quinton Stag, Quinton Church,
Quinton Tesco, Worlds End (Sandwell), Welsh Hues Farm Estate, Harborne & Metchley
From Sunday 4th January 2026, this service will be operated by Diamond Bus, no change to route, some minor revisions to timetable during peak times.

Service 27 Solihull / Yardley Wood-Rubery (Great Park) (now changing in March) details still to be confirmed.
From Sunday 4th January 2026, this service will be operated by Diamond Bus.

Service 73 Solihull-Heartlands Hospital via Sheldon, Cockshut Hill & Yardley (Yew Tree)
From Sunday 4th January, this service is withdrawn, mostly replaced by new 98 and 99 services (see below).
Hob Moor Road will continue to be served by current 17 and 17A services, while Old Lode Lane is served by the current X2 service.

From Sunday 4th January, this service is withdrawn, mostly replaced by new 98 and 99 services (see below).

It has now been officially announced HERE, I have been informed that these Warwickshire County Council tendered services will be operated by Stagecoach from Sunday 4th January 2026.

25 January 2026 Changes
​
12A - Dudley to Oldbury via Oakham
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be operating a revised timetable with additional journeys added to evenings and Sundays. There will be no change to the current route.

From Sunday 25 January, this service will be operating a revised timetable. There will be no change to the current route.

81 - Wolverhampton to Dudley via Coseley
From Sunday 25 January, this Banga Buses service will be operating a revised route and timetable to provide better transport links for passengers.

214 - Dudley to Foxyards Estate via Priory Estate
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be withdrawn. Forest Road will now be covered by an amended Banga Buses service 81, offering a more comprehensive service and passenger link to Wolverhampton.
Foxyards Estate will no longer be directly served; however, passengers will retain access to service 229 via Sedgley Road West or Birmingham New Road, following the recent diversion of the service along Birmingham New Road.

215 - Dudley to Blackheath via Burnt Tree, Dixons Green
From Sunday 25 January, off-peak journeys will be re-numbered to service 216 and now serve Sledmere Estate, offering links to presently isolated residents.

217 – Merry Hill to Blackheath via Cradley Heath, Halesowen and Olive Lane Estate.
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be introduced to replace current service 17H and 231. The service will operate a combination of both routes.

17H - Halesowen to Merry Hill via Cradley Heath,
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be withdrawn and replaced by new service 217. The section of route along Quarry Road will be omitted to now serve Dudley Wood Road instead (currently covered by 24H). Quarry Road will now be covered by alternative service 3 (West Bromwich to Merry Hill via Blackheath).

24 - Merry Hill to Blackheath via Rowley Regis Hospital
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be revised into a new service 24 incorporated with the current 24H. The section of route around Darby End will not be served, this is covered by alternative services 3, 4M, 7 & 18, with the exception of:

Bowling Green Road/Brook Lane

Withymoor Road/Gawne Lane/Powke Lane
Due to extremely low usage, no alternative services will be provided on these roads, although alternative services are available within a short walk.

New Bus Routes

​​​Known changes for January 4th 2026:-
​
New 98 Solihull-Heartlands Hospital & New 99 Solihull-Kingshurst
From Sunday 4th January, these new services will commence which replace the withdrawn 73 and A9 services, and will be operated by Diamond Bus.
Both services will operate every half hour during Monday-Saturday daytimes, providing a combined 15 minute frequency between Solihull town centre and Lyndon.
Service 98 operates Monday to Saturday,
Service 99 operates Monday to Sunday.

Service 216 - Dudley to Blackheath via Kates Hill, Sledmere Estate, Uplands Estate & Springfield
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be introduced to replace current off peak journeys on service 215.

Service 217 - Blackheath-Merry Hill via Coombeswood, Hurst Green, Quinton Stag, Hasbury, Haden Hill, Cradley Heath & Saltwells
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be introduced to replace current service 17H and 231. The service will operate a combination of both routes.

Service 14A - Dudley-Halesowen via Kates Hill, Oakham, Portway, Blackheath & Lapal
From Sunday 25 January, this evening and Sunday only service will be withdrawn. It will be partially replaced by service 12A, providing provision from Dudley to Tividale Hall and connecting on to Oldbury. The section of route between Tividale Hall and Halesowen will no longer be served on evenings and Sundays due to low patronage.

Service 17H - Halesowen-Merry Hill via Hasbury, Haden Hill, Cradley Heath & Saltwells
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be withdrawn and replaced by new service 217. The section of route along Quarry Road will be omitted to now serve Dudley Wood Road instead (currently covered by 24H). Quarry Road will now be covered by alternative service 3 (West Bromwich to Merry Hill via Blackheath).

Service 24H - Halesowen-Merry Hill via Lapal, Blackheath & Cradley Heath
From Sunday 25 January, this service will be withdrawn, with the majority of its route incorporated into the revised service 24. The section of the route around Darby End will no longer be served. All areas currently served by the 24H will continue to be covered, with the exception of Dudley Wood Road/St Anne’s Road, which will instead be served by the new service 217.

Service 214 - Dudley-Foxyards Estate (Swan Village) via Priory Estate
